
TERMS & CONDITIONS

If Delight Cakes UK is unable to provide the service agreed upon due to any unforeseeable circumstance, unavoidable situation or cause beyond our control, all deposit(s) will be returned to the client with the understanding that there will be no further liability with respect to this agreement.

Delight Cakes UK may use images from the booking for marketing purposes such as social media, leaflets etc.
Ordering

All details regarding the decoration of the cake(s) must be confirmed upon booking, alterations to the design cannot be guaranteed after confirmation.

If any additional decoration is desired, one-week notice is needed and there will be an additional charge.

Changing of cake flavours needs a one-week notice period.

If there is a change of date for the agreed collection/delivery the client must inform Delight Cakes UK as soon as possible. It cannot be guaranteed that the new date will be available and there may be a charge for the changing of date.

Delight Cakes UK should be informed of any special dietary requirements when the client is booking. Cake ingredients or machinery may come in contact with nuts, milk, and wheat products.

Colours requested by the client via photographs are not guaranteed to be an exact match.
Cancellations and Refunds

Once your order has been placed, this cannot be cancelled.

If Delight Cakes UK needs to cancel your order, you will be refunded the total amount. Please allow up to 5 working days for your refund to be processed back into your account.
Liability

Although care is taken to ensure the cake(s) meets dietary requirements, Delight Cakes UK is not liable for any allergic reactions.

If fresh or dried flowers will be used on the cake(s) it is the responsibility of the florist to determine flower safety and safe food practices, not Delight Cakes UK.

Delight Cakes UK is not liable for any harm caused by eating plastic accessories, toothpicks or dowels. The client will be made aware of the presence of any of these and it is their responsibility to remove and ensure these are not served with the cake.
Orders for Collection:

Once the collection time has been agreed, the client must ensure a prompt collection, otherwise, for every 30 minutes over the collection time where the order has not been collected, a fee will be charged. This will be shown in the terms & conditions at the checkout.

The client should ensure the mode of transport for the cake(s) has a clean, flat surface that is large enough for the cake(s) to be placed.

The client is responsible for the condition of the cake(s) when they are handed over.
Orders for Postage:

The product(s) will be posted on the agreed upon date.

The product(s) will be posted using an agreed upon service, Delight Cakes UK cannot guarantee the exact delivery date, nor is Delight Cakes UK liable for any delays.

Delight Cakes UK is not liable for the freshness of the product(s) upon arrival. All products will be sealed individually and placed into the gift box before being sealed in the postal box to ensure maximum freshness.

Delight Cakes UK is not liable for any damage caused to the products whilst in transit. We pack each item as securely as possible into the boxes, however, we cannot guarantee the postal boxes will be handled with care.
If the client experiences an unforeseeable circumstance that the cake(s) needs to be cancelled, this will be at the discretion of Delight Cakes UK.
